Zermatt, the Matterhorn – and you!

Ski Chalet Zermatt

A modern chalet directly on the ski slope in Furi, just above Zermatt, with a 5.5 room duplex apartment and a 3.5 room apartment. This property is a second home.
There is the possibility of a merger and the property could be converted into a spacious 8.5 room apartment. Built in 2012, the chalet is in excellent condition and was constructed with great attention to detail.

At first glance at the property, the stone roofs and wooden façade immediately catch the eye. The spacious living area with its covered seating area is a particularly outstanding feature. There are countless possibilities for design and use here. The chalet is not only a paradise for adults, but also for children. Experience nature and tranquillity right outside the front door in the garden or enjoy barbecues with family and friends. For a special experience, you can also enjoy the clear starry night in the heated hot tub.

The chalet is easily accessible via a path, and a cab can drive up to 100 meters in front of the chalet. Alternatively, you can take the cable car or an e-bike to reach Zermatt in just 20 minutes. In winter, it offers an ideal starting point for direct access to the three ski areas as well as to Italy. You avoid waiting times at the gondola lift and are the first on the slopes in the morning.

The entrance area of the apartment on the upper floor of the chalet offers a spacious checkroom with ample storage space, an open wardrobe, a comfortable bench, a ski boot warmer and a washing machine with tumble dryer. From here you can access the small north-facing terrace. The first bedroom is located at the end of the entrance hallway and has a bunk bed for two people. Directly next to it is a bathroom with shower.

The bright 5.5 room duplex apartment is particularly characterized by the sloping ceilings, which create a unique atmosphere. Small steps create different room heights. The open-plan living and dining area on this floor is also attractively designed and has a wonderful Alpine Giltstein stove for cozy evenings after skiing. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired.

Stairs lead from the living area to the top floor, where there are three further bedrooms. Two of them are double rooms, one of which has a walk-in closet. The third bedroom has a unique design and is furnished with four wooden “nest beds”. Cozy alcoves and individual drawers provide additional comfort. From the bedrooms you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountain landscape. Next to it is a beautiful bathroom with shower, toilet and bathtub. Most of the walls in the rooms and the corridor are clad in rustic wood. 

The entrance to the 3.5 room apartment is on the first floor at the rear of the chalet. A spacious dining area with oak parquet flooring creates a homely ambience. In the open-plan living area, you can warm up on cold winter days and relax after a hard day’s skiing. A beautiful kitchen with modern appliances offers plenty of space for cooking. From here you enter the bathroom with white tiles and dark floor, equipped with a shower bath, a toilet and a washbasin with mirror cabinet. The two bedrooms have beautiful wood paneling. The white ceilings and wooden windows lend an alpine charm. The perfect retreat.

The chalet can be rented out via a management company for times when you do not wish to use the chalet yourself.
